Juan Haurie y Sobrinos ran the most important sherry winery in the 18th century and established the rules that would make sherry wines and brandies the most highly prized in the world.

Their innovative vision made it possible to integrate processes, from grape cultivation to production, ageing in oak barrels and fortifying wines, and would forever change the internationally renowned Jerez wine industry.
