One of the five most prestigious designations of origin in the world. A region located in northern Spain that is ideal for growing grapes and producing high-quality wines with a unique personality and great ageing potential. The Tempranillo grape makes these reds balanced, with a body and structure offset by a smooth, elegant flavour. They are mainly fruity when young and become more velvety as they age.
Located in Castile and León, two hours north of Madrid, this is one of the most internationally renowned designations of origin. Winegrowers combine traditional expertise with new technologies to define their individual style. The wine must contain 75% Tempranillo to be recognised by the D.O. styles, such as “Roble”, “Crianza”, “Reserva” and “Gran Reserva”.
Rueda officially became a Designation of Origin in 1980, with the Verdejo grape as its main hallmark, a variety that arrived in this region during the 11th century.
QDO RIOJA
80% Tempranillo and 20% Grenache grapes. This vintage was characterised by very favourable weather in September-October, which allowed for a longer harvest and a better selection of grapes. 12 months in French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels.
QDO RIOJA
100% Tempranillo grape. SALVE reflects the characteristics of the Tempranillo grape and the land where it has grown. Passion and character made wine.
DO RIBERA DEL DUERO
100% Tempranillo grape. From the combination of the continental climate and a complex “terroir” emerges a landscape of old “tinto fino” vines rooted from the Duero River to the most rugged areas. Aged in French and American oak barrels.
DO RUEDA
100% Verdejo grape.
A Rueda White for a traditional consumer, urban and young, which is enjoyed cold.
